The Distinguished General Hackler Championship Covered by SC Golf

The East Tennessee State Buccaneers took home the title, Myrtle Beach’s own Coastal Carolina University placed 2nd, and Augusta State came in 3rd at the 2010 Jim Hackler Championship.

Coastal Carolina University’s men’s golf program was proud to host the nationally-renowned General Jim Hackler Championship at the TPC of Myrtle Beach in Murrells Inlet, SC on March 14 and 15. The General Hackler Championship is named in honor of the late United States Air Force General James F. Hackler Jr., a long-time supporter of Chanticleer golf, and has been hosted by the TPC of Myrtle Beach for the past eight years. The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers had the lowest score in the final round which brought them up three spots to finish 2nd overall.
