Phil Mickelson, the Most Talented Golfer in the Sport?

According to Callaway, and many others, Phil Mickelson is one of the most talented golfers alive and active in the sport today. George Fellows, President and CEO of Callaway had this to say, “He’s clearly one of the most talented golfers ever to play the game and we’re proud to have our equipment in his hands as he continues toward the World Golf Hall of Fame.

Today was an exciting day for all that participated, watched, and heard about the Masters Tournament in Augusta, Georgia. The battle for the “GREEN jacket” has, officially, begun and there are several golfers that are favored in the running. Lee Westwood has played an amazing three rounds and has, thus far, presumably defeated the stigma of an Englishman or European winning this event.

Phil Mickelson played an astonishing round of golf today at the 2010 Masters Tournament at Augusta Georgia. He has focused, for a change, and he accomplished six birdie’s today alone. Moreover, he is still ahead of Tiger Woods by two positions. Phil had this to say, “I can’t imagine playing this game without Callaway management’s support behind me and Callaway’s equipment in my bag,” said Phil Mickelson. “Both have contributed to my success and I’m planning on their support throughout the rest of my professional career.” In addition, Phil had an amazing shot from the 14th hole, which gave him his second consecutive birdie of the day. Needless to say, Phil brought his A game to the Masters this year!

After nearly five months, the stress related to his infamous crash, and the process of reconciliation with his wife. Tiger Woods has somehow found the time to work his political advantage and, has apparently, been able to make time to practice. After all, practice makes perfect!!

At this point, it could be anyone’s game… The score is so close that only time and the conclusion of round four will allow someone to pull ahead and for someone to rise to the challenge and meet this tournament head on!!
