FREE Tickets to the Coastal Uncorked Tasting Trolley?!


As promised, SC Golf has two (FREE) tickets available for the Coastal Uncorked Tasting Trolley with your name on them. Comment on this post to be entered into the drawing. PLEASE do not enter the drawing if you are unavailable to enter the event or are unsure. It is not fair to others that could use the tickets and enjoy this event. Event detail below:

Tasting Trolley Around Myrtle Beach

The signature event of Coastal Uncorked! On Friday & Saturday from 12 - 5 pm, the Tasting Trolley will take Coastal Uncorked participants around Myrtle Beach at eleven various stops featuring wine tastings, beer tastings, spirits tastings, food demonstrations & sampling, and live entertainment.

Stops on the Tasting Trolley include:

•“Pirates of the Caravelle” at the Caravelle Resort


At this Pirate party, you will receive loot bags and be greeted by Pirates upon arrival. A Caribbean band will be playing while you enjoy wines from Constellation Brand and Rum punch, and feast on peel & eat shrimp, crab claws, seafood chowder, and shrimp & grits.

•“Mardi Gras Masquerade” at the Island Vista
The sounds of live music and the dancing at this stop will make you feel like you’ve stepped right into the heart of Louisiana. Featuring dancing, live jazz music, and various wine tastings. Hearty low country menu including Oyster Rockefeller with pernod creamed spinach, apple amoked bacon, bernaise sauce, Sauteed Shrimp with smoked cheddar grits, red eye gravy, and Chicken and Andouille Sausage Gumbo with okra, peppers, tomatoes, spicy broth.

•Sip N’ Stroll at The Market Common (Friday)
•King Street Grille: Smoke Salmon bites paired with Stella Artois
•Tommy Bahama’s Restaurant & Bar: Warm Macadamia Crusted Goat Cheese paired with Crazy Cubans
•Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant: Brewery tours every hour beginning at 12:30 and beer samplings all day

Grill & chill at The Market Common! This event will include live Certified Angus Beef grilling demonstrations presented by Piggly Wiggly, outdoor living display & decorating tips by Pottery Barn & Williams-Sonoma, sensational sides by Sysco Foods, beer tastings, wine tastings, and live bluegrass music by Grasstowne & The Morris Brothers! Don’t miss Southern Living Chef Vanessa McNeil’s cooking demonstration at 1 p.m.



•Coastal Uncorked/Beach Life Expo Reception at the Oceanfront Boardwalk (Friday)
•12 p.m. to 5 p.m. - Seaside wine tastings/beer garden and judged sports car concourse in Plyler Oceanfront Park.
•12 p.m. to 5 p.m. - Live jazz featuring the Simon Harding Quintet on stage in Plyler Oceanfront Park. Food by Jimmyz Japanese Hibachi.
•5 p.m. to 11 p.m. - Beer garden open featuring live acoustic music on stage.
•7 p.m. to 11 p.m. - Fireshot (roots, rock, reggae) live on stage in Plyler Park.

•9 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Vendors open in Plyler Oceanfront Park.

•12 p.m. to 4 p.m. - Live music on stage featuring Jah Creations (reggae).
•4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. - Live acoustic on stage.
•7 p.m. to 11 p.m. - Live music on stage featuring the Jerry Cooper Band.



“Caribbean Night” at The Caribbean featuring Southern Wines and Spirits


Escape to the islands and enjoy a performance by a steel drum band and an authentic cookout complete with a pig roasting, hula show, and fire-eaters. Includes wine and Cruzan Rum tastings.

• “Party Down Under” at Breakers Resort with Greg Norman’s Estate
G’day mate! Come and get down Aussie style with samplings of Greg Norman Estates’ Australian Chardonnay, Shiraz Cabernet, Cabernet Merlot, California Sauvignon Blanc and Wolf Blass’ Yellow Label Chardonnay and Shiraz.

•“Red, Wine, and Blue” at Coral Beach featuring California Wines


You’ll feel patriotic celebrating the red, white, and blue at this All American party. Featuring Childress Vineyards wine tastings.

•“Party at the Ruins” at Landmark Resort
Mexican Aztec themed party held poolside at Landmark’s outdoor waterpark. Feast on a variety of delicacies from “South of the Border” and sip on traditional Mexican spirits, margaritas and sangria. Celebrate the sounds of Mexican culture poolside with a live, authentic four piece mariachi band.

•“Taste of the Globe” at Compass Cove featuring Santa Carolina (Chilean Wine)


Get a taste of the world at this stop featuring cuisine of four different countries including:

•America - Taste of all things American including sampling mini cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and chips. Beer samplings of Sam Adams White Ale, Sam Adams Boston Lager, Budweiser, Pabst Blue Ribbon, and Yuengling. Classic American music playing throughout the day.
•Germany - Nothing more authentic than samplings of bratwurst and sauerkraut. Wash it down with samplings of Heineken, Stella, and Bass.
•Mexico - Cross over the border with samples of tacos and burritos. Featuring samplings of Dos Equis Lager and Negro Modelo. Pinatas being broken every hour!
•Ireland - Kick up your feet and irish jig your way through samplings of fish and chips, Guinness and Killians. Irish Dancers from the Palace Theatre will be performing every hour from 12:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. both days.


•“Shagging Barefoot” at Dunes Village Featuring Barefoot Wines


Come out and see where Shag Dancing started. Enjoy music with DJ Mixon Dixon, shag dancing, Barefoot wine tastings, shrimp & grits, award-winning She Crab soup and much more!

•“Low Country Living” at Hampton Inn & Suites Oceanfront
Kick back and let the ocean breezes take you away as you sip on California wine samplings. Featuring a hammock give-away with a chance to take a piece of relaxation home.

Details

Tickets include wine, beer, spirit tastings, food, live entertainment, and transportation. We encourage locals to begin their Tasting Trolley tour at The Market Common and The Boardwalk. The Tasting Trolley will run continuously from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and pick up will be approximately every 15 minutes. Trolley will be traveling in both directions to accommodate all guest. Participants are not required to get off at every stop and can stay at a particular stop for as long as they wish. No children allowed on Trolleys, must be ages 21+. Must present valid form of ID and ticket stub. Bring cash for great souvenirs.
