Casting call for the new Myrtle Beach Golf Show


SC Golf is pleased to announce that Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday is currently searching for the first host of the new Myrtle Beach Golf Show. The show will air sometime early in 2012 and will everything Myrtle Beach has to offer. MYRTLE BEACH GOLF HOLIDAY ANNOUNCES CASTING CALL FOR THE NEW HOST OF GOLF DESTINATION TELEVISION SHOW; DEBUT BROADCAST SCHEDULED FOR EARLY 2012

Programming to Appear Exclusively Online and Feature a Variety of Golf-Themed Content

October 21, 2011, Myrtle Beach, S.C. – Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday, the non-profit golf marketing cooperative, has announced a casting call to find the first host of an Internet-based golf television show set to debut in early 2012. The show will originate from the popular golf destination and focus on a variety of content, including course reviews; equipment reviews; golf tips; celebrity interviews; and what to see and do on and off the links in the Golf Capital of the World.

Those interested in auditioning can do so online, and are asked to record a 60-second video clip explaining why they should be the new host of the show and upload it to their personal YouTube page. Then, send the YouTube link to: facebookfriday@golfholiday.com. Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday will review the audition clips to determine the new host. The clips will also be posted on the Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday Facebook page where fans can view them and provide opinions about the new host search. Deadline for entries to be submitted is Friday, November 4.

“This is another way for us to communicate with traveling golfers about the benefits of a Myrtle Beach golf vacation,” said Bill Golden, president of Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday. “We are looking for a host who is engaging, golf savvy and can communicate the fun a Myrtle Beach golf trip offers and what a special place the Grand Strand is all year.”
