Each year we decorate our homes, send Christmas letters, and exchange gifts. Many of us become so involved with the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season that we forget the reason for the season.

What is the purpose of Christmas and what is the true reason of the season?

In this humble writers opinion, the purpose of the Christmas season is to celebrate Christ's life and the "reason" we should focus on giving, rather than on receiving, is because Jesus gave us the ultimate gift; the gift of salvation by way of his death for our sins.

The Golf Academy of America's Myrtle Beach campus knows all about giving back to the community. This year they collected over 200 golf clubs for the First Tee of Myrtle Beach!

“We could not be more excited to team up with the First Tee of Myrtle Beach for this program,” said Jim Hart, GAA Myrtle Beach’s Campus Director. “This is the first year we’ve done this sort of holiday charity program and we look forward to further philanthropy in the future.
